The 2019 Honda Fit is all about Honda’s landmark offerings which are a homogenous blend of modern jellybean design, versatility, technology, performance efficiency and safety. The Petaluma Honda Dealership enlightened us that this ergonomically designed sub-compact had its roots in Japan where it was introduced as the ’Jazz’ way back in 2001. It entered the US and Canadian markets somewhere in 2008 and is a popular buy ever since. The Fit at cozily seats 5 and still has ample cargo space. It’s quite fun to drive with loads of entertainment and excellent fuel efficiency and ideal for both city rides and weekend outings. The 2019 Fit has some interesting new features that you can see.
Sporty Looks
At the Petaluma Honda dealership, we were informed that the 2019 Fit comes in an amazing array of 7 trims – the DX, LX, LX-Honda Sensing™, SPORT, SPORT-Honda Sensing™, EX, EX-L NAVI all having some amazing features. The overall visual effect delivered by the Fit is quite futuristic, but you will be mesmerized by its sporty exterior and flowing design that seemed almost wavy. The sharp front grill is sophistically set within the layered front façade that integrates the headlights. The Sport trim with its bright orange front spoiler is quite eye catchy. Some interesting new supplements include LED brake lights, available 16-inch otherwise 15-inch alloy wheels, integrated fog lights, body colored heated power door mirrors, one touch power moonroof with tilt, a rear exhaust finisher and rear diffuser that gets an orange pinstripe in the Sport trim to name a few.
Magical Interiors
One of the most striking feature you will find in the soft and cozy interiors of the Fit is the 60/40 Split 2nd-Row Magic Seats which can be folded or adjusted in several ways to make cargo space, get extra space to stretch the to the full length of your legs, do a reverse fold to reduce the sitting height incase you are one of those whose head bangs against the roof and much more. Except for the DX trim, the rest get a center console with armrest and storage compartment in the front row. The driver’s seat gets manual height adjustment and headrests for the front row seats is standard in all trims. Seating and upholstery is cloth mostly and you start seeing leather from the Sport trim which has a leather wrapped shift knob and a leather covered steering wheel. The EX-L Navi has leather trimmed seating surfaces.
Comfort & Convenience Features
Driving comfort is primary in the Fit and you have an Adjustable tilt and telescopic steering column, Driver’s and front passenger’s vanity mirrors, Fuel consumption display and handsfree Bluetooth phone common standard across all the trims. Some desired features that have been added across all the trims are the Immobilizer Theft Deterrent System, Multi-angle rear view camera. You have remote entry system with security system in place and the Honda dealer Petaluma showed us the premium EX and EX-L Navi with a Proximity key entry system with pushbutton start.
